Radiographic Examination

Radiography employs X-rays or gamma rays to penetrate the test object. It displays a permanent picture of the test object’s interior on radiographic film. Radiographic limitations include: the need for adequate component geometry, strict security of the test area, and time to develop and interpret the test film. Radiographic examiners require extensive training.
